Competency Based Diagnostic Assessment and Treatment Planning

A case conceptualization and diagnostic assessment is a synthesis of information, which demonstrates a recognition and understanding of clinical and cultural information, explained in the context of a theory and addressed in the treatment plan.  Developmental, cultural, psychological, emotional, relational, biological and neurological factors can be accounted for and integrated into how you conceptualize and diagnose, and how you create goals with clients.
